About the event

What To Expect

This retreat will take you on a 2-hour journey of blissful relaxation. It's a unique blend of Meditation, Breathwork, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. These practices are designed to help you release stress, calm your mind, and realign your body and spirit. 

The theme of the August retreat will be cultivating acceptance. 

Acceptance means allowing ourselves to acknowledge and honour our experiences, both pleasant and unpleasant, without judging or avoiding them. As Tara Brach teaches, "Radical acceptance is the willingness to experience ourselves and our lives as it is, without fighting or attempting to change it."  

Acceptance is not the same as complacency or giving up. In fact, for many of us, acceptance needs to be a radical act of self-love and transformation because we have been conditioned to reject and criticise ourselves and challenging this takes determination, patience, and a willingness to make radical changes in our lives.

At the end of our practice, you're invited to unwind further with a cup of herbal tea and treats - an opportunity to share experiences and smiles and connect with one another, or sit peacefully with a cosy cuppa. 

When and Where

Mark your calendars for Thursday 11th April, 2024. The retreat will take place from 7pm-9pm at the beautiful St John's Place, Lower Bemerton, Salisbury. 

Do I need to have practcied yoga/meditation before?

No experience (or flexibility) necessary. The movement is very gentle and relaxing, and chairs and cushions are available. 

What to Bring 

Please bring a yoga mat if you have one (I do have spares if not), as well as a cushion(s), blanket, an eye mask if you have one and a pen. Part of the retreat will be lying down, so please bring anything that will help you feel comfortable. You can wear loose, comfortable clothing, yoga clothes or even your pajamas!

Ready to give yourself the rest you deserve? Then join us for this cosy evening retreat. Tickets are priced at £20 or £18 for yoga members/regulars.
